Tacaloa: Where Mexico and Colombia Meet

In Mexico, everyone has tried to make the best taco. Tacaloa too. The difference is, we’re not in Mexico—we’re in Colombia.

Tacaloa is not just a restaurant. It’s a bridge between two cultures, a neighborhood, and a tradition that refuses to be lost. It’s a dining room where Mexican tortillas meet Colombian ingredients, where every bite tells a story of origin, community, and connection.

At Tacaloa we work with 100% native Colombian corn, grown by local farmers who keep the memory of the land alive. We believe in the authenticity of simplicity: handmade tortillas, tacos that honor the best of both cuisines, and flavors that travel across borders to create unique experiences.

More than a restaurant, a social project.

Located in the heart of the Siete de Agosto neighborhood, we support local producers, strengthen community trade, and generate real job opportunities. In our kitchen, diversity and inclusion become essential ingredients: we open our doors to people historically excluded from the labor market, because to us, every story is a seed of transformation.

Tradition, justice, and flavor.

At Tacaloa we build direct partnerships with farmers, promoting fair trade that dignifies their work and protects our traditions. We believe that honoring cuisine also means honoring the land and those who cultivate it.

Tacos that redefine tradition

Every taco is a surprise. You won’t find these flavors anywhere else, because here Mexico and Colombia come together in every tortilla. These are flavors that travel, that break borders, and that celebrate the everyday in an extraordinary way.

Tacaloa is more than eating: it’s remembering that behind every tortilla there’s a story, a field, a neighborhood, and a future built in community.
